According to popular studies, there are more TV’s in the world than there are houses. This only shows one thing, the world has already too much TV’s.

Now, we have nothing against these idiot boxes, even though most of the time they make us really stupid, there is also some incredible stuff we can get from it. But the key word is most, and most of the time a TV is more of a pain in the neck than a pleasure, most especially if it is not you who hold the remote control. In fact, how many couples and kids have repeatedly fought over each other for the TV set, which only escalated to greater household wars? Really, a TV should be banned from a happy home.

Apart from that, there’s also the classic case of people gathering together for the sole purpose of watching TV say, in a sports bar or restos. In places like these the TVs are often kept turned on with most people not consciously paying attention to it. And we all know it, a large portion of television content is just plain questionable. And consciously or unconsciously, we are all bombarded with the messages we get from the TV and these have very powerful effect on us, whether we like it or not. Through the repetition of TV ads, we remember even messages we don’t want to remember from this potent medium...
